Construction

• Cable core: Twin conductor, multi-stranded.
• Single 6 m cold tail.
• Steel armour for durability.
• Insulation: Two layers of PET foil and a fluoropolymer layer surrounding each core, all embedded within a cross-linked polyethylene outer layer.
• Outer sheath: PVC.
• Outer cable diameter: 5.8–6.7 mm.

Electrical specifications

• Rated voltage: 230 V.
• Output per metre: 30 W/m at 230 V.

Temperature limits

• Maximum permitted operating temperature: +70°C.
• Minimum installation temperature: −15°C.

Suitable applications

• In-slab storage heating in concrete floors.
• Freezers (frost heave protection).
• Frost protection.
• Ice and snow melting.

Applications not supported

• Heating in floors with a thin levelling bed.
• Heating of wooden floors.
• In-screed heating on concrete floors.
• Heating directly under tiles.
